Summer jobs for non

Author: New York is filled with opportunities for people around the world. If you have any skill and can market it well, you will succeed in New York. However, a lot of the jobs require you to have the American Citizenship. This is why many people end up jobless during the summers, and think that they can’t work anywhere. But there are always plenty of jobs, so think again!
Certain places such as fast food restaurants don’t care if you have America Citizenship or not. If you are a non-US resident try finding a job at a fast food restaurant since they usually pay minimum wage and are not very strict on your citizenship.
Then there are also the local restaurants that want someone to serve the food. You can work there during the summers and get a lot of tips. Some restaurants will hire you only on tips if you are a Non-U.S. resident. If the restaurant is not franchised, then usually they won’t care which country you are from as long as you can work there.
During summers there is always a huge demand for ice creams, etc. You can make homemade ice cream and sell it on the streets. I am not sure of the legalizations, but this is a good idea if you are not a resident of United States. You can sell the ice cream to neighbours, friends, etc and make a lot of money.
Companies which require technicians do not generally care if you are a U.S. resident or not. New York has a high demand for replacing air conditioners, fixing air systems during the summers. There are a lot of commercial buildings which require regular maintenance. You can become an air conditioning technician and no education is required for this. In most cases your employer will not care if you are from United states or not, but as long as you can work hard and long during summers, there should be no problem.
Baby sitting is something which doesn’t require any proof unless you open a baby care center. People like to go on vacations during the summer, some like to go to parties, and a lot of the times they don’t want to take their kids with them to the bars or casino; this is where you can benefit. Inform everyone in your community that you are available to baby sit their children or in some cases take care of their pets. You can make quite a lot of money if you can handle children. This is one of the best summer jobs if you live in a neighbourhood where there are a lot of children.
If you are a hard worker and don’t quit looking for a job, then you will get the summer job and make money regardless of your citizenship.
